Meet Our Founder and CEO
Angelena Meier, M.A. BCBA
Angelena is deeply passionate about everything she does as the CEO of Kids Konnect ABA. What sets our program apart is her unique blend of academic expertise, professional experience, and personal insight. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology and began her career as a speech therapy assistant, where she gained four years of hands-on experience.
Driven to make an even greater impact, Angelena transitioned into the field of ABA Therapy, where she has accumulated over 12 years of dedicated experience. In 2021, she earned a master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis and is now a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Angelena’s professional journey is also shaped by her personal life. As the devoted sister of a mentally challenged brother, she has spent years advocating for his needs, giving her a profound and empathetic understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. In addition, she is a proud mother of four beautiful children, further enriching her compassionate approach to care.
Angelena’s diverse background and heartfelt commitment allow her to lead Kids Konnect ABA with a unique and compassionate perspective, ensuring every family feels supported, understood, and empowered.

How Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Works
At Kids Konnect ABA, we welcome all clients – infants, toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers, adults, or even older. It is never too early or too late to start the treatment! Our primary goal lies in creating an individualized learning plan according to each client’s individual needs, regardless of being diagnosed with developmental/special needs or not.
Our treatment approach is rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a proven and evidence-based method that focuses on understanding and modifying behavioral patterns. It helps children and adults achieve these behavioral goals while fostering skills in key areas – language & communication, social interactions, play, and self-help. ABA can benefit anyone, and often diagnosis is not required, although it is particularly effective for children and adults on the autism spectrum.
Our methods consist of scientifically proven techniques, peer-reviewed research, and well-established learning principles. ABA is a 100% recognized treatment for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.
At Kids Konnect ABA, we prioritize the basic needs of our clients diagnosed with autism and offer support at every stage of the spectrum. We empower families, friends, and loved ones to become effective advocates, offering them tools to feel more in control of their lives.
ABA therapy helps children and adults facing difficulties with speech delays, communication skills, gross motor skills, daily living, social skills, academic skills, behavior management, and more. It enables them to enhance various skills, such as language, communication, socialization, and self-help. Examples include dressing, grooming, toilet training, and sleep training. These skills are truly life-changing, hence paving the way for independent and fulfilling lives for children and adults with special needs.
